During the new COVID environment, their clients’ focus has shifted to small dinner parties, backyard movie nights, kids’ parties, and celebratory showers, while still actively planning weddings for the fall.

What makes Tux unique is their ability to pivot between fully planning events, to just helping with the staffing, or a combination of the two. For example, during COVID, Tux reports that many parents are struggling with how to celebrate their kids’ birthday. Tux has helped a handful of birthday boys and girls make in-home birthdays special, in a way that isn’t grueling for the parents. First, they provide clients a 'vision board' with options for everything, including invitations, games, crafts, snacks, and décor. Then, on the day of, they will show up and host the event for you! You no longer have to be the one doing it all. Believe it or not, they do all of this for $300! They can even provide chefs for a burger station, or waiters to help design specialty cocktails and mocktails for the adults. Their goal is to make events easier for parents by allowing them to be involved in the event, instead of responsible for it. To help parents be in the photos, not behind the cameras.



Tux also indicates that many clients are looking to be social while still social distancing. These clients are hosting small gatherings in their homes, where the food is picked up from a local restaurant. For this, Tux provides hand-selected, background checked, and fully insured staff to help in their homes. These Tux waiters can dress as formal or as casual as you would like. They understand how frantic hosting guests can be, so they arrive one hour before and are immediately able to help organize appetizers, prepare the bar, or set the table. It’s up to you. During the event, they are there to tend to you and your guest. Afterward, they are there to help with dishes, organize leftovers, and even take out the trash.



Finally, for more socially distanced events, the Tux team has been hosting outdoor movie nights. These events can feature either a 16’, 24’, or 36’ inflatable screen. Whether having a drive-in, or a backyard bash, their high definition projectors are great for movies, live sports, and even epic video battles that the kids won’t soon forget.
