Are you a pregnant woman or of child bearing age (18-49 years old)?
The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security is conducting a CDC-funded study to describe and evaluate the official communication efforts that have been ongoing about Zika virus, and to learn how individuals understand and act on the information they hear.
They are looking for individuals who would like to participate in a small group discussion to be held in downtown Houston on December 14th 2017.
Your participation is voluntary. They will ask you to describe your reactions to what health authorities say about Zika, and to discuss how your own values, culture, and ethics shape your reactions.
The focus group is in support of a larger project to advise health authorities on how to meet the communication needs of a community threatened by an infectious disease. The focus group will be recorded, but your name will not be associated with your comments.
Participants will receive a $75 gift certificate as a thank you for their participation.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Diane Meyer at firstname.lastname@example.org or (443)-573-3316.
